What’s going on world? I’m back with you another week and I want to share some inspiration on the topic “Stop To Start, Start To Stop”. The goal of this message is to provide a quick refresher to help us identify the things that we must start or stop doing in order to continue to progress. In life it is important to keep balance as this is what allows us to move in synchrony with our thoughts, actions, and outcomes. There are many things that prove this balance exists such as a left hand and right hand, up and down, hot and cold, or do and don’t. The balance in these scenarios is most visible as we work to get closer to one of these opposites, and is found in what we do to move ourselves from one end of the spectrum to the other.
In my consulting business, we conduct critical thinking exercises with clients that are designed to help change lines of thinking in order to see things from a different view. To keep balance in our development we must consider fostering thoughts that shed light on other perspectives. This will allow us to better evaluate where we are in our processes while navigating where we want to go with our actions. Through considering alternatives we are able to point out some of the things that we shouldn’t do, in order to be able to spend more time doing the things that we should do. The strength of this exercise is found in the ability to reflect on your actions to determine if they are producing the desired outcome, and if not you are given the direct correlation of what you should potentially do to achieve better results.
Below is a list of things that you may consider to stop doing in order to start producing more:
The above are just a few statements that can be used to help generate different thoughts that can be applied to action. I suggest that you stop to start, and start to stop just one of thing in your current process, and I promise you will find yourself in a better position towards achieving your goals than when you started.
